This Fire Rated Bunded Storage Unit has been crafted with a rolled hollow section welded frame to store Drums and IBCs on your site.
What sets this storage unit apart is its advanced fire safety features. The walls, two hinged doors, and roof of the unit are filled with Rockwool Fireboat insulation, providing an impressive 1-hour fire rating.
This insulation is meticulously encased in sheet steel, which is seamlessly welded to the frame, ensuring a robust and fire-resistant structure.

The storage unit features a fully seam welded sump fitted with galvanized steel grid mesh, offering a bonded area in the event of a spill. This design prioritizes containment and safety. Additionally, the underside of the unit is equipped with plinths, eliminating direct contact with the ground and further enhancing its durability and longevity.
In terms of ventilation, this storage unit is intelligently designed with high and low level vents, each fitted with intumescent elements. These vents allow for proper air circulation under normal conditions. However, in the unfortunate event of a fire, these intumescent elements respond dynamically, expanding and sealing the vents at temperatures above 150 degrees Celsius. This proactive measure ensures that the unit remains sealed during a fire, preventing the spread of flames and smoke.
