Automatic Defibrillator
Defibrillators are used for individuals who are in cardiac arrest. Sending a high-energy electric shock to the heart, the defibrillator aims to save the life of someone who’s in cardiac arrest. This automatic defibrillator ensures to analyse the patient first and then delivers the shock automatically if required.
The automatic defibrillator ensures to minimise user error by automatically sending shocks, where usually responders give a countdown before giving a shock. It is also beneficial for responders who are not confident with defibrillators as the device does all the work. The automatic defibrillator also eradicates the possibility of responders hesitating or freezing when put in a high-pressure situation.
With 2 modes: adult and child, this defibrillator is a functional piece of equipment that adapts to the patient. The shock required for a child is much lower than an adult, however by simply switching the modes and using the set of smart child pads included, the defibrillator can save the lives adequately of any patient, regardless of age. The shock delivery is distributed in less than 6 seconds from the completion of CPR.
The defibrillator comes equipped with a rescue kit which includes:
- 2x Patient Wipes
- 1x Nitrile Gloves
- 1x Prep Razor
- 1x Face Shield
- Tough Cut Scissor
The defibrillator itself is carried inside a robust carry case with a vivid orange frame with a set of electrode pad and one set pre- connected to it. One for adults and the other for use on children as young as age 1+. A lithium manganese oxide battery is included, which is disposable. The battery is expected to last up to five years (in standby).
