External Defibrillator Cabinet – Unlocked
The defibrillator external cabinet is an easy-to-use unlocked storage cabinet that stores defibrillators away from harsh weather conditions and other general damage. With its easy single-hand entry and large flat handle that makes it easy to hold and use, the cabinet can be opened easily in cold conditions and adapt to open for people who may have limited dexterity.
Due to its IP66 rating, the cabinet easily stores the defibrillators away from harsh water and dust. Reinforced with its polyethylene exterior and polycarbonate door, the defibrillator external cabinet is corrosion and impact resistant and has a door made from the same material as riot shields, protecting the cabinet from sheer brute force.
Fully insulated, the cabinet ensures with its heat plate which has a thermal cut out mechanism that temperatures inside are kept at 10 degrees and never drop lower than 5 degrees and rise higher than 25 degrees. This is to manage any fire risk that could come to the defibrillator and prevents the cold weather from draining its battery.
Each cabinet has its own unique code to identify which cabinet it is. This is so the unique number of the cabinet can be shared to local authorities when emergency 999 calls are made. With this pin point specific cabinet and location, emergency aid can come straight to the correct location, saving time and lives.
