Non-Potable Water Tanks have been manufactured from one piece industrial strength MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) using UV technologies to ensure it can cope with industrial environments and extreme weather conditions. The opaque plastic construction reduces algae growth in sunlight. All tanks are frostproof and will not crack in the cold when used outdoors.
Tie-down points are located on each tank to facilitate handling and positioning.
Drinking Water Potable Water Tanks will not contaminate your water and have been manufactured using WRAS Approved polyethylene Icorene 1314 DW Black 9001 or Revolve N-748 Black approved under WRAS Approval 1202543 and 1201523 respectively. Plastic meets the requirements of BS 6920-1:2000 and ISO 9001:2015 quality control standards. Each drinking water tank comes with an approximate wall thickness of 6-7mm.
Each tank comes with a 24" Screw-down Lid to allow for easy access and inspection. A 2" plastic threaded male outlet is also supplied loose as standard but can accept up to 6" flanged outlets. We also supply a 2" isolation valve free of charge if required.
Tanks must be installed on a firm, smooth base built and should be adequate for the weight of the tank and large enough to extend to the sides of the tank. If inadequately supported, the tank can be weakened leading to leaking liquid. Tanks require continual structural support
