HERMEQ EcoHoard is a reusable hoarding system for major projects, combining PVC hoarding panels, a steel framework and concrete ballast to deliver durable temporary site hoarding with strong wind loading performance and long-term value.
HERMEQ EcoHoard is a high-performance hoarding system developed for major construction, infrastructure and secure project environments where durability, adaptability and long-term value matter. Built around interlocking PVC hoarding panels, a steel tube framework and concrete ballast, it provides a robust solution for projects that need reliable temporary site hoarding without the waste associated with one-use alternatives.
This reusable hoarding system is designed for projects where hoarding lines may need to move, expand or be reconfigured during different stages of the build. Its modular structure allows contractors and project teams to install, dismantle and reposition the system efficiently, helping to reduce downtime and protect site boundaries throughout the job. For buyers looking for site hoarding solutions that support both operational efficiency and environmental goals, EcoHoard offers a practical long-term option.
Key features & benefits
- Reusable asset value: EcoHoard is a fully reusable hoarding system that can be dismantled, moved and installed again across multiple project phases.
- Strong wind loading performance: This wind loading hoarding can be adapted with additional rails, adjusted ballast centres and increased block weight to suit demanding requirements.
- Fast and adaptable installation: Interlocking PVC hoarding boards and a simple steel tube framework support quick installation and flexible layouts.
- Sustainable alternative: Reduces reliance on timber and supports lower waste outputs on site.
Product information
The EcoHoard system is constructed using interlocking 500mm boards, supported by a steel framework and concrete ballast arrangement. The steel tube supplied to form the structure is 48.3mm diameter x 3.2mm thick BS EN 10219-1 scaffold tube. This allows the framework to be repurposed after the project, either reused within future hoarding systems or sold on at market rate, supporting a more circular approach to site materials.
EcoHoard is commonly installed at 2.4m high across major projects throughout Europe, with a 3.0m option available on request where increased coverage is required. The system is widely used on data centres, nuclear power plants, road and rail infrastructure, and MOD and DOJ sites, where dependable and adaptable temporary site hoarding is essential.
As a reusable hoarding system, EcoHoard helps contractors shift away from disposable materials and towards long-term asset utilisation. The combination of reusable components, recyclable materials and adaptable design supports modern procurement strategies and evolving sustainability targets.
Sustainability and compliance
- Sustainable compliance: Supports contractors working towards BREEAM, LEED and ESG objectives
- Circular economy ready: Enables reuse, resale and long-term asset management strategies
- Reduced site waste: Cuts timber usage and lowers overall waste tonnage on site
