Rubbish Chute Y Sections are one of the components that make up a Rubbish Chute assemblage. Rubbish Chutes are commonly found on building and construction sites for safe and easy disposal of waste into skips or containers at height.
These Sections come "Y" shaped with two openings to dispose of your waste and are located at the top of your Rubbish Chute assemblage. Rubbish is emptied into Y Sections and they are connected to Rubbish Chute Sections for the rubbish to flow through until being emptied through the bottom.
Our Y Section piece is for a 20" Rubbish Chute Assemblage – our most popular rubbish chute system ideal for situations where a rigid system isn't practical.
Each Y Section has been manufactured using High Quality MDPE and HDPE as a one piece moulding with a channelled top rim to ensure each chute stays in shape under load. All components are highly resistant to abrasion and stay rigid and strong on impact during harsh weather conditions.
Fixing Frames are also available to order and we recommend using a Fixing Frame per every 10 sections of your system. These frames will safely secure Chute Sections in place to prevent your system from collapsing at height which poses a health and safety risk. Standard Fixing Frames are generally used with scaffolding and Window Fixing Frames used to attach to windows on a building.
Each Y Section has been practically designed meaning they are easily stackable for storage and transport when using for future projects. They also come supplied with brackets, chains, wire rope fixings all ready for easy assembly and additional wires and chains can be purchased as additional parts.
We also supply Rubbish Chute Sections, Top Hoppers and Side Entry Hoppers to make up a Rubbish Chute assemblage.
