Platform decks are an essential part of a scaffolding tower. Used as the main standing point for workers on the scaffolding tower a good platform deck needs to be able to withstand harsh weather conditions and heavy loads.
Available in 2 different types: Standard or Hatch. These platform decks vary depending on function.
The Hatch platform deck focuses on giving workers a space to work with the additional option of a trapdoor. Trapdoors are useful on scaffolding towers as it gives access for workers to work on the structure underneath without having to move outside of the scaffolding platform perimeter. This hatch platform deck is made with Class 3 marine plywood with a non-slip phenyl mesh coating. The trapdoor is self-closing with heavy duty claws and an industrial strength lock that offers maximum safety when working on heights.
Available in 1.8m or 2.5m. Maximum working load 275KG.
The Standard platform deck is a fixed platform that is also lightweight and reaps the same benefits as the Hatch platform deck minus the trapdoor feature. The non-slip phenyl mesh coating gives maximum grip when walking on the platform and reduces the number of slips and trips when working on heights.
