Knitted Monofilmant Netting can be used to protect greenery such as plants, young branches and flowers – this windbreak mesh will help to enhance micro-climate by improving photosynthesis and ground moisture by reducing evaporation and transpiration.
Anti-hail net grades are available to withstand the impact of heavy hailstorms when installed in roof profiles above crops and orchards. This type of protection will safeguard future crops as well as your current harvest with the woody part of the plant being protected too.
Hail Protection Grade Netting also offers protection against frost which will crystallise on your mesh netting instead of on your plants with denser grades additionally providing light shade and windbreak protection also.
Knitted Tape Netting is highly versatile and available in a wide range of densities for shade, reduced sunlight intensity, fruit support, privacy screening and animal protection. The mesh netting is practical, cost-effective and simple to install to allow you to create ideal growing conditions by avoiding overheating, scorching and moisture loss.
Netting with a low shade factor can be used for growing vegetables and netting with medium light-reduction and screening will offer ideal conditions for storage areas to cultivate flowering plants and acclimatising plants moving out of greenhouses.
The densest net grades available are typically used for enclosures to create shaded areas for animals and used as privacy screening (e.g. to camouflage Chain Link Fencing). Milk white and Two-Tone grades are available to block sunrays without dramatically reducing light levels.
The AG TAPE FS range has been designed for inside use for greenhouses and perishable good storage areas – their low weight allows them to be laid directly onto plants. The more durable AG TAPE OM range can be used both inside and out and are ideally used in open fields and exposed places such as hardening off areas.
