A Drain tracing and marking kit that contains tracing dye, degreaser, pads for cleaning, stencil board, marking paint and gloves for marking out drains and grids that need to be covered. Dyes are non-toxic.
Note: Clean all grids, drains, manhole covers etc before using this product.
A complete kit for marking and tracing drains for covering. Equipped with tracing dye, degreaser, pads for cleaning, stencil board, marking paint and gloves the kit ensures that users have all the tools needed to successfully trace out where the drain cover needs to go.
Kit contains:
- 3x 100g pot drain tracing dye – blue, green, red
- 1x 400ml bottle of degreaser
- 20x maintenance pads
- 2x 750ml drain marking spray paint – blue, red
- 2x arrow stencils
- 1 pair of gloves
When using this kit, try to identify water drains and foul drains. Once knowing where the drains run, empty to and connect with grids and gulleys you can use the drain training dyes to complete this information. To use the dyes, mix 5ml with 10 litres of water in a bucket and pour into the drain. Dyes are non-toxic, odourless and certified by environmental agencies, local authorities and water companies.
Clean all drain grids, manhole covers etc with water then dry before marking the grids with spray paint. Surface water drains should be marked in blue and foul drains in red.
