Our Heavy Duty Molasses Tanks have been designed for the storage of molasses – a by-product of refined sugar beet and used as a source of fermentable energy for livestock. Molasses are required to be stored in a dark, cool place to prevent the risk of mould growth or the liquid becoming more viscous.
These CE marked Storage Tanks have manufactured from a UV-stabilised and corrosion-resistant polymer and are available with a capacity of up to 20,000 Litres.

Molasses can be used as dairy, beef and sheep feed with nutrient-dense properties – it can help to increase Average Daily Gain (ADG) as part of the animal's diet.
These specially designed Storage Tanks have been roto-moulded with consistently thick outer walls to store high-density liquid molasses – they have been constructed with additional ventilation to help combat condensation and bacterial growth and have been UV-stabilised to prevent corrosion. Tanks are suitable for liquids with a speicifc gravity up to 1.5.
Despite only supplying capacities of these Molasses Tanks up to 20,000 Litres, each tank has the capability of being interlinked to increase capacity if required.
With their polymer construction, these Tanks are lighter than Steel alternatives making them easy to install requiring only a concrete base for stability.
Molasses are available in a Black or Natural finish. The Natural transcluent polymer finish will provide you with a visual gauge of the liquid level in the tank.
