As standard all of HERMEQ's palisade pedestrian gates come with dig-in posts and are 1.2m wide. Other widths and post types, such as bolt-down posts, are available if required so please just reach out to a member of our team.
There are a few things to consider when ordering a palisade pedestrian gate.
Which way would you like your gate to open? We can make the palisade pedestrian gate open either inwards or outwards depending on your site requirements. For instance, it may be dangerous if your palisade gate opens outwards onto a road, so you may want it to open inwards into your site. It is also important that you decide which way to hang your palisade pedestrian gate. Unlike palisade vehicle gates that have hinges on either post, allowing them to open from the centre, the pedestrian gates open on one side and are connected to the other post, which they pivot around. Therefore it is important to decide if you want your gate to be left hung (connected to the left hand side post / opening from the left) or right hung (connected to the right hand side post / opening from the left)
It is also worth noting whether you want the width shown to be inclusive or exclusive of the posts. If you specifically have a 1.2 meter wide gap for the gate to fit in, then you would want the total width of the gate to be "inclusive" of the posts. But if you want the opening of the gate to be 1.2 meters wide, then you would want the width of the palisade vehicle gate to be "exclusive" of posts.
Finally you will want to let our team know whether you want the palisade pedestrian gate to stand alone or tie into a new or existing fence line. If you want palisade not provided by HERMEQ to link to the vehicle gate, then you will need to let us know the height at which the rails from your existing palisade fence will join the gate post so that we can ensure that there are cleats in place to take the existing rails. This is because different palisade manufactures have their rails at slightly different heights and you will need them to marry up.

- Palisade Galvanised to BSEN ISO1461
- Palisade Galvanised to BSEN ISO1461 & then Powder Coated to a colour of your choice.
The prices shown above are based on 2mm thick pales, rolled into a W section with a triple point & splayed palisade pale head. Each palisade bay is Galvanised to BS EN ISO1461 as standard. We can then powder coat the palisade fencing to meet your requirements, offering two layers of protection.
