Chain Block
Chain Blocks (also known as Chain Hoists) are a mechanical device used for lifting and lowering heavy loads in various industrial and construction applications. It consists of a chain or lifting medium, a set of pullets and a lifting hook.
We supply Chain Blocks with a chain up to 6m long and able to withstand up to 10 tonnes.

The Grade 80 Lifting Medium Load Chain is made of high-strength steel and designed to handle heavy loads and is available in various lengths to accommodate different lifting heights.
Chain Blocks incorporate a set of pulleys including a lifting hook pulley and a hand chain pullet. The pulley system multiplies the force applied to the hand chain allowing users to lift loads with less physical effort.
The Lifting Hook is attached to the load and is used to secure and lift the object. It typically has a safety latch to prevent accidental disengagement from the load.
The Hand Chain is operated by the user to lift or lower the load. Pulling the hand chain through the hand chain pulley activates the lifting mechanism.

- Grade 80 Load Chain meets W.L.L. performance requirements of BS EN 818-7.
- Electro galvanised calibrated hand chain
- Sealed bearings in each unit ensures extra protection and allows complete repair flexibility
- Top and bottom hooks with heavy duty cast catches.
